Pink Bloom - uplifting previvors, survivors, thrivers. Never alone, Unidas Juntas!
PINK bloom was founded in 2023 by Yanira (Yani) Hurtado after her breast cancer diagnosis in October of 2021. She began by sharing her story from day one! Pink bloom grew from her desire to give back to the community that had grown so near and dear to her heart.
Pink Bloom began with me (Yani) and my incredible family, who have stood beside me through every step of my breast cancer journey. They are my day-ones—my caregivers, my cheerleaders, and the heart behind this work.
But Pink Bloom is also bigger than just us. It’s every survivor, supporter, and sister who has rallied with me. Together, we’re building a movement rooted in love, healing, and comunidad.
Because no one should face this alone.
The Pink Saves Campaign- I was part of the October 2024 campaign to raise funds for The American Cancer Society- Making Strides Against Breast Cancer.
Your gift helps us show up for Latina women and women of color affected by breast cancer—whether they’re previvors, survivors, or thrivers. Donations go directly toward healing bags, support groups, retreat sponsorships, and community care.
Pink Bloom is currently in the process of becoming a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit. While we are not yet tax-exempt, we operate with full transparency. All donations directly fund our efforts for community support initiatives. We are committed to accountability and will provide regular updates on our progress.
